For ArthroClinic Bern we built the website and delivered the entire practice IT – from the fibre uplink through network, workstations and server to a three-tier backup. A practice IT that holds up to the clinical standard of its joint specialists and grows along with the practice, problem by problem.

Practice

Daily practice and public presence – both have to hold.

An orthopaedic practice runs two concerns in parallel: the IT that reliably carries the daily routine, and the public presence that makes the medical profile visible.

Building both sides from one team is practical: no interface debates, no double appointments, no open responsibilities between vendors.

Requirements

What made the task distinctive.

  • Reliable practice IT from day one – no downtime in patient contact
  • A clear public presence – trust before the first appointment
  • A single point of contact for hardware and web
  • Minimise handovers – no vendor ping-pong

IT infrastructure

An IT foundation that fits the daily routine.

We were responsible for the practice's IT infrastructure – not the application software, but everything beneath it: hardware selection and setup, network configuration, security setup, and backup strategies for the data the practice handles.

In a clinic context two things matter in particular: nothing must go down on a patient day, and sensitive data needs a sound flow. Both were anchored in the setup from the start.

Website

A presence the practice maintains itself.

The website runs on Webflow – a visual editor that lets the practice update content and layout themselves, without ever touching a code setup.

That matches the brief: if the practice rolls out a new treatment offering, they can communicate it themselves – without waiting for a dev slot.
