For the new Guisanplatz tram stop, one thing was clear: residents and commuters want to know what is happening when – and above all, how loud. For Tiefbauamt der Stadt Bern we built a website that brings construction phases, noise calendar, press releases and downloads together in one place.
A site for everyone who needs to know what's happening.
A public construction project meets many expectations at once: residents, commuters, journalists. The website has to serve them all – without any group feeling sidelined.
The visual design and the project's overall communication consulting come from Qturn, who also handle the print materials and further channels. We delivered the website as a subcontractor, building on their design.

Showing noise before it arrives.
The noise calendar is the centrepiece for residents: a full calendar view where each day carries a noise level – from "normal" through "noisy" and "loud" to "night work".
It is edited directly in the CMS as a dedicated collection with a daily entry and level. People living nearby can check before a construction phase begins whether their routine needs to adjust.
A timeline that tells the whole story.
The construction stretches across multiple phases – each with its own character, closures and trades. The timeline lays them out chronologically and links to concise detail pages.
Phases are grouped by category (groundwork, track work, surfaces, and so on) – readers see at a glance where a phase fits in.
